Who does what
Immigration law is practised by licensed attorneys in the United States, and this is not a front where improvisation is affordable. A2B Relocation does not give immigration advice: we connect the family to qualified counsel, organise the documents, keep the calendar and make sure the other decisions wait for the right moment.
The routes usually discussed
In conversations with Brazilian families moving to Florida, the same paths tend to appear: investor routes, routes linked to a company or to an intra-company transfer, routes linked to professional qualification, and the student route. Each one has a different logic, a different timeline and a different cost.
We do not recommend one over another. The attorney assesses the family's profile, the objective and the timeline, and the recommendation comes from there.
What the family has to prepare, regardless of route
- Documentation of the family's origin, civil status and dependants
- Proof of the origin of the funds involved in the process
- Consular or court records that need to be obtained in Brazil, with time
- Translations and certifications, with certification validity in mind
- A calendar of appointments, which in many cases is the real bottleneck
The sequence that avoids rework
Understand which route is viable for the family, then organise documents, then define the property decision, and only then the arrival logistics. Attempting to do the purchase before the immigration picture is clear is the mistake that most delays a move.
Frequently asked questions
Can buying a property in the United States give me residency?
No. A purchase does not grant immigration status. Some investor routes exist and are assessed by the immigration attorney on their own criteria, which are not met by the mere acquisition of a property.
Can I live in Florida while my process is pending?
That depends on the route, on the stage of the process and on your current status. The answer is given by the immigration attorney, for your specific case — it is not something to decide by analogy.
Does A2B Relocation handle the immigration process?
No. Immigration is practised by licensed attorneys. We coordinate: we brief the counsel, organise the documents, follow the calendar and keep the rest of the move in step with it.
This guide is general orientation about how a relocation process is organised. It is not legal, tax or immigration advice, and it does not replace an analysis of your own case by a licensed professional in the United States. Regulated work is carried out by the licensed partners we introduce.
